From a hobby to a career...
Photography has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. My parents tell stories of me as a five-year old stealing their camera to take pictures. Ever since then I have always had a passion for capturing the moment how I saw. I love to allow people to see how I see things.
For the longest time I never wanted to take pictures of people because they move and don’t hold still as well as a mountain does. But in the summer of 2014 I was sitting down during a family get-together with my camera and I started to take pictures. I realized that I could capture the moment of where I was and the joy and happiness that family has when they are together.
I never knew that photography was going to be my career. I always loved physics and math in school and figured that I would eventually become an engineer. God flipped my world around and I ended up not going to college to take time to grow closer with God and learn more about myself. During this time I unearthed the true passion I have towards photography and how much joy I have in stopping time with my camera. In spring of 2016 my girlfriend (now fiancé), brought me out to take pictures for her cosmetology portfolio. It was at this time that God showed me that being a photographer could be a reality. I am excited to finally pursue the passion that has always been a part of me, and I cannot wait for the opportunity to capture the exciting moments in your life.
Thanks for checking out my story, I can’t wait to be a part of yours.
